Great Eastern Building, Window and Door Replacement

Appointed as Employer Agent, Nuval surveyed, costed and managed the replacement of defected windows and doors to the Great Eastern Building.

Unfortunately the original building contractor  went into liquidation, meaning there was no direct contact. This meant that Nuval had to approach the manufacturers, suppliers and recommended installer

Unfortunately the original building contractor  went into liquidation, meaning there was no direct contact. This meant that Nuval had to approach the manufacturers, suppliers and recommended installers directly to source like for like replacements. 

Nuval also provided tenant liaison services organising access, programme updates and final sign offs for our client.

This hands on approached was welcomed by our client allowing them more time to focus on currently workflow.

Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Installation

Appointed as Employers Agent, Nuval managed the installation of EV infrastructure across the Frampton Estate in Hackney, from conception to completion.

As employers agents Nuval initially sat down with client and their EV provider Zest, ensuring all the design, project targets and requirements were clearly set out.

Along with installing the infrastructure, Nuval also provided their client a full specification of the installation which will be used on future projects.

Defect Rectification

Nuval carry out defects rectifications on our clients buildings which are 12 month+ and are not covered by the original building contract.

Dealing with these issues for our clients allows them to focused on their new workflow.

Nuval know a close group of tradesmen that are quick to react, professional and are aware that nearly 100% of the buildings are occupied.

The Old Dairy consists of 13 units, including 1 one-bedroom and 10 two-bedroom apartments as well as 2 three-bedroom townhouses. 

Nuval Group were tasked with strict financial budgeting along with tight programme constraints.

Acting as Employers Agent, Nuval Group carried out a full refurbishment to the common areas of Bridge House, Hackney.

Along with carrying out aesthetic refurbishment to Bridge House, Nuval also ensured that the building was fully compliant and secure.

Nuval Group were approached by our client to act as Employer Agent, to reinstate the school playground which had been used as a marketing suite for a local development. The project consisted of considerable earth works and retaining walls. New security fencing around the perimeter of the school, new muga area, increased playground area and the resurfacing of the existing.

The risks we faced during this project was the building was located close to the river Thames meaning we had to deal with a high water table when excavating the basement. Multiple design meetings with the civil engineers were held to ensure all relevant measures were in place to minimise / mitigate this risk.

Incorporated within the social space was a cafe/bar area, 2 restaurants and a members club.


Forbury Place, SSE

Southern Scottish Electric,

located their new office to Forbury Place, Reading. SSE needed to carry out a CAT B fit-out of a new office building. The project delivered 140,000 sqft of contempory office fit out spread over 6 floors, consolidating six offices into one.

The project was designed so that it would be future proofed providing agile working for SSE.
