Appointed as Employer Agent, Nuval surveyed, costed and managed the replacement of defected windows and doors to the Great Eastern Building.

Unfortunately the original building contractor  went into liquidation, meaning there was no direct contact. This meant that Nuval had to approach the manufacturers, suppliers and recommended installers directly to source like for like replacements. 

Nuval also provided tenant liaison services organising access, programme updates and final sign offs for our client.

This hands on approached was welcomed by our client allowing them more time to focus on currently workflow.

Appointed as Employers Agent, Nuval managed the installation of EV infrastructure across the Frampton Estate in Hackney, from conception to completion.

As employers agents Nuval initially sat down with client and their EV provider Zest, ensuring all the design, project targets and requirements were clearly set out.

Along with installing the infrastructure, Nuval also provided their client a full specification of the installation which will be used on future projects.

Appointed as Project Managers, Nuval carried out the a full refurbishment of 8 apartments, common ares and externals including hard and soft landscaping.

As project managers Nuval were appointed from project initiation managing the design, tender process, construction and handover back to the client.

 One of the challenges of this project was to get  the property turned around and back on the market within a tight budget. Nuval sat down with client at the infancy of the project and provided design / value engineering options. This process was invaluable cutting costs which weren't required. This allow us to still provide our client a end product with a modern, fresh finish but yet still keeping some of the characteristics of the existing building.

Shoreditch, London

Located on the North corner of Shoreditch Park. 

Nuval Group were approached by our client to act as Employer Agent, to reinstate the school playground which had been used as a marketing suite for a local development. The project consisted of considerable earth works and retaining walls. New security fencing around the perimeter of the school, new muga area, increased playground area and the resurfacing of the existing.

The building consisted of 7, two and three bed residential apartments with a commercial unit on the ground floor and a double height storage unit in the basement.

The risks we faced during this project was the building was located close to the river Thames meaning we had to deal with a high water table when excavating the basement. Multiple design meetings with the civil engineers were held to ensure all relevant measures were in place to minimise / mitigate this risk. 

Whitechapel, London

Located in East London, the Whitechapel building is situated between Whitechapel tube station and Stepney Green. The project was designed as Cat B fit out which spanned over 5 floors and 90,000 sqft. The building was designed to provide state of the art exhibition space, at the same time creating an inviting social space. Incorporated within the social space was a cafe/bar area, 2 restaurants and a members club.
